There are District Council Elections on May 4th this year. These are very important ones for us. Bearing in mind the threats of more overdevelopment, we think they are important for our whole area.
– Chris Black and Chris Lumley are standing for re-election and the Conservatives are going to do their best to knock them off the council.We know the Conservatives have a big organisation and lots of money. Will the two Chris’ be able to hang on?
– Maureen Vince in Rochford is the last Labour Councillor in the District. Will she be defeated by the Tories?
– We will have Lib Dem candidates for every seat in Rayleigh that’s up for election this time. Can we possibly GAIN a seat from the Conservatives?
If you like what we say and do, please think about helping us for a few hours between now and May 4th . We need more people to help deliver leaflets in different parts of Rayleigh and people to sit outside the polling stations for one or two hours on May 4th itself.
It does make a difference which councillors you have!
