The entrance to Beeches Road, Rawreth is the most dangerous place we know to deliver Focus leaflets. Traffic comes around the corner at a furious speed, there are no pavements, and certain companies have drivers who ignore the weight limits. Ron nearly got run over here once… The recent alterations to the junction by County Highways seem to have improved things a little (Thank You!) but it’s still a very dodgy place to walk.
This week a resident phoned to say that there seemed to be a lot of construction vehicles going down there, and he’s right. We’ve checked up and found out that Anglain Water are building a new storage area at their site, and that means a lot of concrete. Apparently, it should be finished before the end of the year….
