Urgent warning – Crime Research
It has come to our attention that residents may be receiving telephone calls from a company called ‘Crime Research’ who claim to be working with Rochford District Council on research or surveys on crime and disorder or anti-social behaviour.
Rochford Community Safety Team would like to make it clear that they have not instructed any companies to undertake any research or surveys of Rochford District residents with regard to crime and disorder or anti-social behaviour. If anyone receives a telephone call from a company called ?Crime Research? they should not provide any personal details and information and should terminate the call. Please then report this to Essex County Council Trading Standards Department: trading.standards@essexcc.gov.uk
I had a phone call from them today myself…. I immediately contacted trading standards
