Residents in Priory Chase, have reported to us that for the 3rd time this year, there are unconfirmed reports of travellers pitching up in Rayleigh Leisure Centre car park.
Despite calls for measures by Lib Dem Councillors, to protect sites and the installation of a height barrier, it appears that the barrier to the car park had been left open for over a week allowing free access to the travellers.
Downhall & Rawreth Lib Dem Councillors have been in contact with the Assistant Director to take the appropriate urgent action.
