Why did the Conservative Party instruct one of their councillors to go into Grange Ward (against his wishes) to campaign against Lib Dem June Lumley? When they could have sent him to Hullbridge where one of the parties standing is the BNP?

Perhaps they felt that the BNP votes would go to the Green Party as the BNPs cndidate is Mr Green? 😉
Or perhaps it is because Mrs Lumley is a far more realistic and electable candidate than anyone the BNP could put forward?

I hope it means that the BNP’s chap is making such a small impact on Hullbridge that the Tories feel they can carry with politics as usual and try and knock us off!
