As we have already mentioned, Hockley have arranged a kickboxing champion to help turn on their Christmas Lights
Maybe Rochford Parish Council and Rochford Chamber of Trade have gone one better – they have arranged an Abba tribute band….

This is the info from the Chamber of Trade Website:

  • Good to see that we have plenty of community spirited people in our district to put in all the hard work that goes into organising these events.

The lights in Hullbridge will be switched on Saturday 1st December outside the school with refreshments in the youth centre afterwards.

  • Christmas Bazaar in the Hullbridge community centre is on the same day between 2-4pm. It is worked so that people can attend the bazaar then go on to the switching on of the lights which usually occurs around 4.00pm.
