Have you ever gone westwards along Rawreth Lane, and then got stuck at the traffic lights at Bedloes Corner? Really stuck – the lights just don’t turn green for you at all?
You’re not the only one. It seems that the lights won’t turn green unless a vehicle stops really close to the white line. Otherwise the sensor that triggers the phasing won’t detect that there’s any traffic waiting.
The County Council are going to sort this out. In the meantime, if you are stuck in a queue of traffic at the end of Rawreth Lane, hope the driver at the front of the queue has moved his or her vehicle sufficiently far forward.
