It is interesting to note that the billboard that has been erected in the past week on the corner of Rawreth Lane and Priory Chase advertises that a new Asda “Neighbourhood” store will be opening later this year! Is the “Neighbourhood” really going to be spending £23million a year in that store???? Living opposite what will be the service yard, I have had the displeasure of watching the development take shape, the size of the layout dictates that this will not be a size suitable for a neighbourhood and it is now high time that Asda stopped deceiving people, and advertised it as being what it will be – a superstore!
