Our Lib Dem Councillors received an email this month about a ‘secret’ budget away day – we say ‘secret’ as the day has been placed into P&C (private and confidential). As long-time readers of OnlineFOCUS will know, we consistently have campaigned for an open, honest and transparent Council and decisions like these go against our policies. There are far too many decisions made by the Tories, behind ‘closed doors’ and this takes one step further in taking away our rights as an opposition group to canvass residents opinions.
Call us party poopers but needless to say we won’t be attending this New Years ‘party’!
