The Conservatives at Rochford District Council have announced its ‘same old same old’ approach to car parking charging during December.
Car parking charges will be suspended during the morning for 3 whole Saturdays on the lead up to what should be the busiest time for local retails and other businesses in our High Streets.
Clearly, the Council are unsympathetic to the plight of our struggling businesses and this compounds the ‘slap in the face’ to many businesses from the Conservatives.
The Conservatives are determined to drive the final nails into the coffin by their lack of any tangible action to help small businesses.
With the Christmas lights switch normally scheduled for the end of November now cancelled, we really think that the Conservatives have cancelled Christmas in our towns.
