Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or perhaps been in lockdown ? ) then you will have probably heard about the plans to demolish the Mill Hall as part of Rochford District Councils wider ‘asset strategy programme’.
The Lib Dems were excluded from the working group on this project by the now disbanded Investment Board and residents haven’t been consulted.
We think the loss of the Mill Hall that used by such a huge number of people in the heart of our town is something that all our residents should have the chance to be consulted about.
We’ve launched a petition to ask for your support to demand a consultation and hope that you will sign and share with everyone. At the moment due to social distancing we are unable to produce paper copies so please aid those who would want to add their name to the petition.
