We’ve had the following from a local resident:
I was wondering if anyone had heard of any incidents that took place in Rayleigh High Street on Saturday night.
My father-in-law and I were driving home about 11.30pm and noticed a paramedic and a police car outside the cashpoint at HSBC bank. The imediate area had police tape around it and when we drove past, I noticed that there was a load of blood on the floor (blood had covered the whole pavement).
I have not seen any news on echo web-sites and I was wondering if you had heard of anything happening.
It has played on my mind all weekend as it is not something you would expect to see in Rayleigh. And the pavement was an absolute mess.
