Residents of Canewdon, plus long-serving councillors and council officers, may remember Trevor Powell. Trevor was a popular and hard-working councillor in Canewdon, who became leader of the Lib Dems on Rochford District. Unfortunately, his “proper” job required to move away to Suffolk, and some of us lost contact with him.
Trevor and his wife Nita are now in the Scottish Highlands, running a bed and breakfast.
Trevor is still involved in the Liberal Democrats.
