From the District Council website today:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, collections of kerbside recyclables on Friday 16th January have been delayed.
Residents affected should present their recyclables bin for collection on Monday 19th January. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Or – to make it simpler – there’s been a problem at the recycling centre in Tilbury, but things should be back to normal by the end of next week.
