Following our previous item about the traffic delays in Rawreth Lane caused by the private roadworks taking longer than expected , we have had the encouraging update from County Highways

Further to this ‘fiasco’, we have today met with the contractor and agreed that he is to be off the highway by Monday am or he will incur financial penalties.

and indeed they had left by Monday!
