We asked the local highways office when the Rawreth Lane roadworks will be finished, and we’ve had the following response:
The Rawreth Lane works I am expecting to be finishing in the next few weeks but things are changing all the time on site so there is no definite date yet. We are well aware of the residents’ concerns as we have now spoken to most of them. The original project manager in County Hall is shortly to write a letter to affected residents giving them an update. I will ask that he gets a copy to you for information.
Last week, we took the decision to remove the western island within Rawreth Lane so this will greatly reduce time and disruption. The reason was that it interfered with driveways too much.
