A planning application for a ‘prestige’ 150 room hotel in Rochford was nearly approved tonight .
The only obstacle is that the applicants haven’t yet provided a adequate flood risk assessment- if they can do that, officers have been given delegated powers to approve the scheme.
The hotel will be between the Athenauem Club and Cherry Orchard Way, and will be 5 storeys high.
