I’ve been really touched by the support people have shown us in the campaign so far. Especially the couple in Rawreth Lane making a trip to Rochford especially to sort out a postal vote problem because they wanted to be sure they could vote for me. And another couple who have supported another party virtually all their lives but phoned up out of the blue and offered to deliver some leaflets for Lindsay.

There’s a week to go, I’ve borrowed a sledgehammer and our first posters have gone up. We have more leaflets going out in this next week as well, and it’s vital to get these out.
