A group has been launched on Facebook called “Park Considerately, Save Lives”
It’s described as follows:
To encourage considerate parking within Essex to allow our emergency workers clear access in our hour of need!

Despite the risks, poor parking remains a huge problem for our emergency services to deal with when attending emergencies, with cars double parking so badly even police cars struggle to get through, let alone fire engines needing to get to the burning house down the street.

What I need the people of Essex to do is name and shame all the problem roads on here, so we can get an idea of where the problems lay and can then work on dealing with it to make our roads safer and access clear for the emergency services in our hour of need
