The top education councillor in Essex , Mrs Iris Pummell , visited the district council on Jan 15th, after a request from ourselves (Chris Black and Ron Oatham).
It was good of her to come, but we didn’t get much fresh information – St Nicholas School is still expected to relocate to a new site at the old Park School, but we don’t know when .The earliest date is September 2006 – but don’t be surprised if that goes back.
Overall , there are enough primary school places in Rayleigh, but there may not be enough for everyone who wants to send their child to Downhall. If you want more information, please contact Ron or Chris.
