Look out for this:

The original Trinity Fair ran in Rayleigh each year from 1227. The Trinity Fair was shut down in 1899 as it had become “too rowdy.”

Now in 2017 Rayleigh Trinity Fair is being brought back by Haddon Events and Rayleigh Town Council.

The High Street will be closed to traffic on this day and will be filled with stalls, live music on stage, dancing and other entertainment.  This is an event for the whole Community to come and enjoy.  Entry to the event is free for everybody all day.

12.00pm – BBC Essex
12.05pm – The Big Sing Soul
12.30pm – Sammy-Jo Evans from ‘The Voice’

  • At the last count 86 stalls with a mix of commercial and charity ones. Vintage cars in Mill car park and the simulator ride sounded very interesting. Should be a great day, just need the weather to be good. Well done to the office staff, committee members and Steve Cooper of Haddon Events for all the work put in. Any volunteers to help set up?
