We?ve had a couple of people asking what?s been happening with the Asda appeal. In fact one resident spotted someone from Asda at Rayleigh station last week, and wondered if something was going on.
Well ? Asda have appealed to a government inspector, and last week the inspector came down to Rawreth Lane to have a look at the site. (He saw it at 5:15 in the afternoon, when the traffic is bad).
He?s got all the evidence he wants ? you can see it all on the council?s website here. He is now looking at the information and will then decide whether to give Asda permission, or refuse them.
