We spotted this in one of the red tops today. With the claim that 66% of British people supporting the building of more social housing.
‘Needs must’ – there is a NEED and we MUST do this. Here in Rochford there is a policy (which isn’t strictly adhered to) that 35% of new builds must be affordable housing, but we need MORE social housing and less of the ‘dream homes’ that people from the Rochford District can only dream about owning, with their eye-watering price tags.
