Makro’s application is almost certainly going to be decided at the planning meeting on Tuesday April 25th. This is an application to expand their building on the Rawreth Industrial Estate by over 20 percent.
Rawreth Parish Council have objected, but other than that, there have been relatively few comments from residents. The planning officers wanted to pass it without it being discussed by councillors, but Ron and Chris have requested that it should come to the planning committee to be properly debated.
One thing about this application that surprised us ? a comment by County Highways that the store is ?well placed close to the existing public transport network?.
