Licensing Hearing

The district council licensing sub-committee meets at 10 am tomorrow morning at the Civic Suite in Rayleigh.

It will determine an application at the Crouch Valley Showground for an event from 1100 hours on Friday 16 May until Midnight on Sunday 18th May, for local live acoustic music. The applicant has applied for an alcohol license and a license for the provision of regulated entertainment. he notice has made provision for 480 attendees, including staff.

Rochford DC Environment Health have objected and state that the applicat ion fails to provide sufficient detail on the measures that will be taken to manage noise levels.

Essex Police have also objected due to lack of detail to show that the licensing objectives regarding crime and disorder, public nuisance, public safety and the protection of children from ham will not be undermined.
