A while ago we mentioned that the builder of 5 houses behind 56 Hullbridge Road now wanted the houses to have rooms in the roof rather than basements. The builder had to put in at least one planning application to get permission for these changes – in fact the builder has made five applications – one for each house.
Council Officers wanted to refuse permission for just one of these , and grant permission for the other four. However Chris Black has asked for these four to go to the development control committee for them to be decided by councillors rather than officers – and he’s asked for a site visit beforehand as well.
