The builders have officially started work in Rawreth Lane on building the home for elderly mentally impaired people. We went along to have a chat with the main parties involved and we understand that:
It will take nearly a year to build the home. It will have have 35 beds for elderly persons with mental impairment These will be local people from Rayleigh, Rochford or Castle Point They will typically have Alzheimers, and won’t be any kind of a threat.

If the builders cause you any problems, please let us know. Overall ,we think the home will be an asset to our area
