The 12th annual Hockley Christmas Lights evening will be held this year on Saturday, 22nd November
Once again Spa Road, Hockley will be closed to road traffic from around 5.30pm to enable stalls, stage and fairground rides to be erected in the road
Organisers Hockley Chamber of Trade and Hockley Parish Council plan to make this year?s event the best ever as more than 3,000 residents are expected to visit the event which marks the beginning of the festive season in the area
Many local residents take this event as a signal to begin their own house and garden illuminations which for many have become more spectacular each year.
