We’ve been out today with an enthusiastic crowd of people giving Sweyne Park a bit of TLC. Bags and bags of litter has been collected with all manner of items recovered from the hedgerows and ditches.
Items such as trainers, gloves, builders chemicals & copious amounts of plastic bottles have all been collected up and bagged for disposal.
Thank you to all those that attended and we look forward to even more of you attending the next community event.
Looking after our parks & open spaces is everyone’s responsibility and to coin a phrase that I heard whilst watching ‘Countryfile’ – we really should think of these spaces as the ‘Natural Health Service’
