Part of the Park School site is supposed to be for ?Mixed use/ Neighbourhood / Commercial? uses. It wasn?t supposed to be residential.However the District Council has now agreed that some flats can be built above shops here. Ron and Chris asked the obvious questions ? How many shops? How many flats? The Council replied ?We don?t know?!
We couldn?t agree with this without knowing if it is going to be 6 flats or 60. So we voted against. However the Tories on the Council agreed to it anyway.
