We reported earlier that the schemes for developing Flack’s Nursery didn’t quite get through the planning committee.
New proposals came back to the planning committee last month – with significant reductions in the size and number of the properties, plus improvements in the design.
This time the applications were passed . But looking back it’s clear that those councillors , such as Ron, who held out for improvements were right to do so, even though the officers were in favour of passing the original scheme. And that this time those councillors such as Chris , who voted the other way , got it wrong!
