Councillors have been told today of an emergency road closure tomorrow in Barling:
Emergency Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, the Essex
County Council will temporarily close under Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Barling Road Barling, from its junction with Barrow Hall Road, in a generally northerly direction to its junction with Mucking Hall Road.The road is scheduled to be closed for approximately 4 hours between 8am and 12 noon on Wednesday 26th July 2006 interests of road safety for both the public and the workforce whilst urgent carriageway planning and resurfacing works are attended to.
During the closure period traffic will be temporarily diverted on along Barrow Hall Road, Little Wakering Road and Barling Road. Access for local residents and businesses, and the emergency services will be maintained throughout.
