The list of candidates for the County Council elections can be found on the County Council website here. These are the candidates for Rayleigh and Rochford:

There are some very interesting contests ahead – and we will be writing in more detail later!. In the meantime please note we are contesting four out of the five seats. We are deliberately not standing in Rochford West, where Micheal Hoy is the curent councillor.

  • If you are fed up with pot holes, gridlock and the prospect of some 10-15 years of construction traffic ( via mass over-development ) then vote for anybody but the present incumbents – who have had their chance and failed.

  • I don’t agree with a lot of the national Lib Dem policies but if you want a local councillor that will work tirelessly on your behalf then vote for Chris Black. I will be and please do the same.

    • Oz – good to hear. Chris B and Chris S would be a pair of safe hands at County Hall. They both have common sense which seems to be in short supply at ECC
