My daughters inform me that they had some local councillors visit Downhall school yesterday, to give a talk on what their jobs entailed.
Anyone we know? Do we know what was presented?
I know nothing about this … I spent a couple of the best years of my life there, I’d have loved to have gone….!
I think the election alarm clock is a great idea I have had people tell me that they did not know when the election was, chances are that people may well read election literature without taking note of the date. It can work the other way round too a friend of mine turned up at her local polling station one year only to find that her ward was not being contested on that occasion.
It looks like it was town Councillors Cheryl Roe and David Sperring who visited Downhall School.
Aha. They are Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Town Council . Fair enough.
