The District Council will decide next Thursday 15th what to do about managing the Dutch Cottage , now that the rest of the housing stock is being transferred to a housing association.
Rayleigh Town Council would very much like to take over the management of the building, but they are unpopular with many of the District Council Conservatives and its difficult to see the District Council voting for this.
