We’d be interested to hear from anyone if they are noticing an increase in noise, dust or vibration from the Rawreth Industrial Estate.

  • With reference to the ‘air pollution’ comments. Did the Planners and Councillors promoting the development of 500 houses North of London Road / Rawreth Lane know about this? I love Online Focus Archive I just wished I had seen much of it sooner. BTW there is a new free non-political publication out today called the Rayleigh Review being delivered to every household with a good piece in it about the development and a report from the meeting of the RTC. Worth a read.

    • Linda, the District Council has been monitoring air quality in Rayleigh Town Centre and at Rawreth Industrial Estate since 2010. With the Industrial Estate, an Air Quality Management Area was established for a while – not because of vehicle exhausts , but because of dust – that particular situation has now thankfully improved.
