Revenues and Benefits online services are currently unavailable, due to essential maintenance.? We estimate that the services will be available on Monday 24th August 2015. The online payments service is unaffected.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
Substitute the word benefits with “paid for by other people that work and pay tax”…..somehow puts a different slant on it…..

Well, for 6 years my Mum and myself lived on a mixture of her widowed mothers allowance, a couple of part time jobs and my free school dinners, plus some Christmas presents from my Auntie Valerie.
I think we were worth saving from starvation and homelessness.
