The Decline of UKIP in Thurrock

There has been a mass resignation from the party in Thurrock (17 members) and we ask ourselves could this be the beginning of a trend across the country as the local elections edge ever closer?

It’s no secret that the electorate may see them as a ‘one trick pony’ and with Brexit now in motion, their job is done.

In our local council, we have a few members of the UKIP party so we’ll be watching this space closely. There may be a possibility that we end up with three independent groups on our local council.
