We know that some residents in Rawreth would benefit greatly from an improved bus service along Rawreth Lane. Also, with the replacement leisure centre, new shops, new hosues, possible new medical facilities and a relocated, larger school, there is a good practical case for a better service here.
So Ron , Chris and Labour Councillor Maureen Vince put forward a motion to the District Council asking for it to press for a better service along Rawreth Lane, without affecting routes elsewhere. We got the Conservatives on our side (thank you if you are reading this) and so it’s now council policy. Whether it will actually lead to anything we’re not sure, but hopefully it will do so eventually.
