Tomorrow night’s Planning Policy and Transportation Committee Meeting has been cancelled – for an interesting reason. The chairman of this new committee, Tory Phil Capon, simply felt that the councillors hadn’t been given enough time to read all their many documents before the meeting took place.
This was probably the right decision – and clearly Cllr Capon isn’t afraid to be a commanding chairman. (When a chairman stands firm on something you agree with, he’s being commanding . When he stands firm on something you disagree with, he’s being dictatorial)
