At the last District Council meeting Chris Black raised the issue of the public conveniences in Great Wakering. The Council had ?49000 to spend in the last financial year on upgrading them but hasn’t used it. This is because the upgrading hasn’t been carried out because of the ongoing vandalism problems there. However the facilities remain open and it might be possible to carry out the work in the future.
