In another smack in the face to the Rayleigh community, the Conservative Government Planning Inspector has allowed the appeal to build 26 residential units and associated basement car parking and landscaping at the Grange Service Station on London Road.

With the Council failing to defend the refusal of the application, the inspector gave the developer permission to build the 26 flats with inadequate parking and NO affordable housing.

In our opinion another case of the Conservative government planning policies failing local residents.
