Cllr Peter Webster , one of the ward members for Whitehouse Ward and the Vice-chairman of the District Council, was mentioned in Geoff’s Percival’s column in the Evening Echo on Sept 17th. The journalist was writing about Rochford’s “weak” rating by the Audit Commission and said:
“I suspect part of the problem could be the slightly abrasive style of Peter Webster and his outspoken views on Government Priorities . This should not influence what is supposed to be an impartial judgement , but it seems to have done so”
