After we had reports of the ditch that runs in front of Laburnum Way being full of debris, Cllrs Chris Stanley and James Newport offered their assistance to RDC to clean it out to prevent flooding.
The ditch belongs to a management company that appears to be neglectful of their obligations so Chris and James stepped in. Rochford District Council swiftly removed the debris from the grass verge.
We received many messages of thanks from residents in Laburnum Way. Another job well done by the FOCUS team!
