The planning application for reshaping the golf course in Hullbridge Road was refused tonight. Hawkwell councillors Heather Glynn and Derek Stansby successfully moved refusal on the grounds of being contrary to the council’s Local Plan, and on the effects on the amenity of nearby residents in Hullbridge.
