We understand that Asda have invited some residents to meet with them on Thursday. This seems to be a genuine attempt to minimise disruption to local residents during the all the construction work.

In case anybody present wonders why Ron and Chris are not there, it’s because we haven’t been invited!
What an absolute waste of time – they couldn’t answer any of the questions or concerns that the residents had about the store.
This is a real shame. Not only do you have to put up with the construction of an outsized ‘Metro’ store on your doorstop, but Asda couldn’t address some real concerns.
Would you mind summarising the concerns raised – I’m sure I’m not the only interested party?
