Archaeologists have discovered an Anglo-Saxon Cemetery on part of the Park School playing fields- on land that is going to be built on.
Apparently the bodies that were found date back to the 5th or 6th centuries. It is quite fascinating to think that Rawreth Lane might have been a highway more than 1500 years ago.
