The Conservative Leader of the District Council, Terry Cutmore, says some good things in tonights Echo:
“We give out a Citizen Of The Year Award for the Rochford District, but not for bravery. He certainly deserves to be recognised for what he has done. Rochford Council would support him for that.
However there needs to be a note of caution that getting involved like this is not always the right thing to do.
But there’s no doubt this guy is incredibly brave and I would love to see some recognition for him.”
