New Affordable Homes in Great Wakering
Rochford Council is committed to providing more affordable housing to meet local needs. Working closely with Registered Social Landlord, Circle Anglia, a new affordable housing development comprising 19 two bedroom flats and 4 three bedroom houses is being built in Great Wakering. The first phase will be available towards the end of October 2008 and we anticipate the completed scheme will be finished in March 2009.
All the properties will be sold on a NewBuild HomeBuy (shared ownership) basis where the purchaser will buy a share of the property and rent the remaining share. The scheme is aimed at those in housing need who have a connection with Rochford District and who cannot afford to purchase a property on the open market*.
