Regular readers of onlineFOCUS will know that Chris and Jackie asiked 4 questions at last wek’s full council. The answers given were quite lengthy, and we’ll put them on here when we get written copies in a few days time.
But in brief the answers given were:
– a couple of council officers have do have powers to access your telephone records , for example, in cases of suspected fraud
– nothing went wrong over the “Pond House” appeal
– the new cabinet and area committee system will ensure that ward members can get involved
– officers decided to let Wimpey put their stuff on the land next to the Rayleigh Lesiure Centre and the council has benefited from this.
We won’t comment on these answers till we have them in written form.
